TONN

Born in Saigon after the war, TONN began modeling at age 15 in Houston. By age 19, he was represented by Elite Model Management in Hong Kong, one of the largest and most respected international agencies. TONN was legendary for walking the runways of Hong Kong, Shanghai, Macau and Bangkok in the mid and late nineties.

After returning to the United States, TONN completed his dual Bachelors of Arts, with high honors, in International Studies and Social Psychology at Marlboro College in Vermont. He then went on to receive a Master in Social Work at Boston College, and is currently completing a doctorate in sociology at Northeastern University. TONN has also been an adjunct faculty at several local colleges, a consultant to the Department of Social Services and a published writer.

In 2005, TONN decided to go back into fashion and launched TONN Model Management, which is now one of the top modeling agencies in Boston, with divisions in New York and Providence. TONN’s client list includes MAC Cosmetics, Timberland, Lucky Magazine, BCBG, Apple, Akris, National Geographic, Asics and Reebok. His models have walked the runways of NYC, Paris, Milan, Singapore and Tokyo, and have appeared in magazines, including GQ, Vogue, Elle, Men’s Health, Shape and Women’s Health. TONN models have also appeared in major films, working with Sandra Bullock, Michael Douglas, Kevin James, Jennifer Garner and The Rock.

Subsequent to launching TONN Model Management, TONN took on fashion photography as a hobby and is now an accomplished fashion photographer working with some of the most notable models in Boston and New York.

TONN is an active member of the American Civil Liberties Union, and advocates for numerous civil rights issues, such as gay marriage, affirmative action and police abuse. He is also a firm supporter of local and national charities, such as Literacy Volunteers of Massachusetts and the Animal Rescue League of Boston, raising thousands of dollars each year.

TONN is currently working on 2 manuscripts for publications. One is on the glamorous world of high fashion modeling, and the other is on violence in parades.
